SEO Analysis

Any SEO project would start with SEO analysis which helps in finding the loop holes. The website is checked against the SEO checklist, which helps in determining what needs to be done on the website.


Link Building

 
 Google looks at the number of links to a web page and the growth and disappearance of these links over time. A decline in the rate of link growth or disappearance of links may indicate that a document is getting stale. Also weight may be given to every link based on the freshness of the overall document in which it is contained. Link building program will include:
  • Keeping a track of competitors and see that who links to them, then contacting the same sites for link exchange
  •    Look for “Do-Follow” blogs related to the website and post comments relevant to their post with a link to the website.
  • Free reciprocal link exchange with directories.
  • Link building through forum posting: this process takes time and it all depends on the rules and regulations defined for different forums.
  • Article submission: I do not use any automated software to write articles, Article submission requires well researched original SEO articles, generally 500-600 words. The following figure shows the how articles are submitted and links are placed.
  • Posting stories on social bookmarking sites
  • Deep link directories ( most of them offer paid service):  optional only if the client agrees to pay for the directories
  • PPC campaigns:  PPC campaigns of yahoo, Google ad words and Face book ads help in driving targeted traffic. One has the option of restricting the daily budget of PPC campaigns.
  • Free classified ads: Oodles, Adpost etc.
Social networking and bookmarking
  •   Creating website promotion accounts in social networking sites like MySpace, facebook, ning, mybloglog etc and making friends with people and updating them about your site.
  • Creating hub pages, squidoo lenses, twitter. Example:
  • Submitting stories on various social bookmarking sites.
